Bio: A native of the foothills of Seattle, Washington, discovered his love for acting and filmmaking at Santa Clara University. He packed his bags for Hollywood, he started learning as a producer and actor. His real industry experience as a producer was on a short project with the D.P. Bary Marjowitz (Crazy Heart and All the Pretty Horses) which starred Ed Asner and Mark Rydell, and then again with the project “The Butcher’s Dozen” which premiered at Cannes. Meanwhile he had been noticed and mentored by industry veterans such as Tom Klassen (industry manager), and Judy Hofflund (First woman agent at CAA) and Steven DeSouza (the writer and creator of the Die Hard franchise and Running Man).
After a feature film entitled “Hollywood Method” that Riley Co - Wrote and Produced (being developed with Steven DeSouza ) was put on hold, Riley decided to go back to school to become director and helm his own projects while he continued to develop the talent management and Production company Credence Entertainment with long time packaging agent Tom Klassen.
While studying 3d film making while studying Directing at Columbia College hollywood, Riley discovered and became very interested in VR. He continued his 3d Filmmaking studies with more VR research, and also co-wrote one of the first scripted 360 vr short films that was produced by Dan Clifton, in the early VR days.
He continues to pursue narrative filmmaking and VR filmmaking. He just completed the pilot of a web series in the vein of and inspiration of film makers such as Martin McDonagh and Tarantino.
